I can’t front, I was waiting all day to write about this tune since the downloadabilty of it was teased last night and I took my first listen before I worked today. Of all the producers who regularly send us their work, Aylen once again proves he is a true production ninja/genre chameleon with this timely and sick trap chop of the classic James Bond theme. Tempered with choice vocal samples of some of the most classic lines from early Sean Connery-era editions of the series, the original theme music is also juxtaposed nicely with some  midi-synth/modern talk work of the original melody also, bringing to the table a cohesive whole that delivers shaken-martini-cool with every hi-hat roll. From electro to moombahton to disco house to trap and more, I’m practically convinced Aylen could remix anything at this point and make it dope, but with such impeccable taste as his in the first place, there’s no reason to delve into anything sub-par material-wise when there’s a world of amazing to make even more so out there.
