The simpler a track is, the harder it can be to remix it well. Here, Gruneau tackles Deniz Koyu’s “Bong” and adds an electro-heavy synth and little upsweeping stabs to take it in a slightly darker direction. I’m actually surprised it works so well – there’s a great flow between the bouncy bits from the original and Gruneau’s gritty additions.
