Well, well, well, is that a chill in the air I feel? Sue me if I say I’m diggin it. What? My two most foisted nicknames are “Vampire” or “Satan.” But it you’re yearning for the sun’s rays to last a little longer, then I’ll keep providing the music to take you there.

Willy Joy has been having one banner of a summer, dropping a myriad of impressive tracks thundering through the “trap” realm. Being a versatile and long-standing DJ/producer of note, I doubt he’s trend hopping on this. But these bangers did strike while the iron was hot. In that vein, Joy dropped a guest mix for IMF Magazine recently, that showcased a huge chunk of trap beats. However, if many of the mixes I’ve posted recently have gone down and deep, this mix pushes traps hats into the big room. Not only are a lot of these tunes stuffed full of dubstep and electro synths, but they also have the familiar builds and drops that put hands in the air. For every dirty south verse that spits low there is equally a chorus of pop harmonies. Consider it the best of both worlds. Whoever you may be, if you follow musicians who appear with headphones, you will like this.

So, what does the tracklist look like then? Well, it has that same eclectic synchronicity. (Hold that thought, I just dropped everything as the Chief Keef – I Don’t Like (Willy Joy Bootleg) boosted in.) Of course there’s Gucci Mane, Baauer, Thugli, and Flosstradamus, but also Kill The Noise, Udachi, The Prodigy, Surkin, and Flinch to balance things out. Willy Joy himself makes quite the appearance here, but it only makes things that much better.

As the seasons slowly take you out of the pool, and into bar, you can still hold that shimmer tight just a little longer. Willy Joy is here to help.
