I saw the video for Kimbra’s “Settle Down” literally within 24 hours of getting this remix, so naturally I was intrigued. Ready for some inception? Thrillo Riley is Mother Superior which is FnDannyBoy and Metafisix. This hijack of the original imparts a unique funkiness and heaviness while still keeping it bright with loads of bells and Kimbra’s breathy vocals. I love the play back and forth between the Metafisix rap and the original vox – this needs more than the 98 plays it has on Soundcloud!
