So lots of people had a good laugh on the internet last week at Kreayshawn’s expense when it was revealed that her debut album had the lowest sales of all time compared to, jesus, I don’t know what, I see shit fail all the time in the industry. A major label rapper not selling cds in an era where people barely buy physical copies of music anymore and can pirate the digital files easily at a higher quality than on the favorite legitimate digital download site really doesn’t surprise me that much, maybe because I didn’t buy it either. I feel bad for Kreayshawn in a way, having her main single being played out on the radio 9 months before her album actually dropped, but I don’t feel bad that Valentino Khan probably got cut a check for this official remix of her second single ‘Go Hard’, a blazing slice of synth-bass fueled moombahton on par with all of his other amazing tracks. With production credits for popular rappers like B.O.B., T.I., and 2 Chainz under his belt and excellent and prolific moombahton work shining brightly under both his name and Market Price’s, this is a nice middle ground between the two, taking the best of his abilities and connections and fusing them into an amazing remix that lives up to the original’s title with room to spare and they are giving to you, for free, even if you had a chuckle last week too.
